You’re leaving

It’s over before it really got started

There’s so much untold

There’s so much undone

 

To be together

That was all I wished for

To spend time together

Just to be

 

To go on moon lit walks by the lake

To be out with no one around but us

To be one with each other and the nature around us

Just to be

 

To go to the movies

To have fun on a night on the town

The candle lit dinners

And the long conversations

 

To be close to you

To just spend the night

Staring at the stars in each other’s arms

Hand and hand together through time

 

When we first met something in me changed

No one has ever touched me in such a way as you have

When I think of you nothing else matters

I would give my life if it meant you were safe

 

I can only hope you feel some of this for me

To spend a few moments in your arms

Is better than the strongest high

 

And in my dreams I can see us together

In me dreams we are happy

But if only dreams could become reality

Only time will tell

 

Even though our time together has been brief…

I would have rather have spent this short time with you

Than an Eternity without ever having met you…

I love you and will miss you.
